2025-02-27 Interviews Digital Platform Business Department 161

― First, please introduce yourself.
M: My name is M, and I belong to the Digital Platform Division. As a director, I handle various tasks, including development, management, and technical guidance.
― What kind of work do you do specifically?
M: I am involved in service development, internal system development, internship and part-time staff supervision, and EA operations management. In particular, I focus on developing new products, taking on a wide range of responsibilities from the planning stage to project management.
― What aspects do you particularly focus on when developing new products?
M: I place great importance on "intuitive usability" and "scalability."
I strive to design UI/UX that users can navigate without confusion while adopting an architecture that allows for easy future feature additions. In addition to the technical aspects, I incorporate feedback from both inside and outside the company to create better products.
― As a team leader, what do you value the most?
M: I believe that proper progress management and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of team members to assign tasks appropriately are crucial.
Additionally, I regularly check in with the team to ensure no one is struggling. If someone is facing difficulties, I step in to support them. Sometimes, I even set aside my own time to think through issues together.
― What are your future goals and challenges you want to take on?
M: Moving forward, I aim to improve service usability so that more users can benefit from it while also working towards expanding the organization.
To enhance user satisfaction, I will continue making improvements and focus on recruiting new members and upgrading the team's skills to ensure continuous growth.
― Can you briefly share your background?
M: During my graduate school years, I worked as a web engineer part-time at this company for about two years.
I had prior programming experience, but my first exposure to web programming was through this job.
In April 2024, I joined the company as a full-time employee, and six months later, I was appointed as a director.
― How did you feel when you were appointed as a director?
M: It gave me the determination to drive the organization from a management perspective. I realized that the role of a director requires not only development skills but also a broad perspective.
― How do you work on developing a broader perspective?
M: I actively engage with members from other departments during development tasks and get involved in projects related to revenue aggregation and accounting systems to expand my viewpoint.
Additionally, I make a point of using each service myself to consider things from a user’s perspective.
― What is the appeal of working at this company?
M: Since the company is still growing and not too large, it offers an environment where my ideas can be easily adopted.
The entire process, from ideation to development and release, is handled in-house, allowing for a fast-paced workflow.
Additionally, the company is expanding globally, which gives me a strong sense of its future potential.
Another rewarding aspect is that we have a large number of members, enabling us to provide services that bring joy to many users.
M is a director who pursues his own growth alongside the company's development while always keeping the user perspective in mind.
It will be exciting to see how his challenges and efforts shape future products and teams.
