Today, we would like to introduce an initiative by GoGoJungle to support single mothers in increasing their income through Global Skill Sharing, "Skijan".

We have launched a consulting service aimed at helping single mothers increase their income.

Consultants are also being hired from single mothers at an hourly rate of 2,100 yen or more, with plans to expand the number of hires in the future.

As of 2021, Japan’s relative poverty rate stands at 15.4%, below the national poverty line of 1.27 million yen (according to the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare’s "National Living Survey (2022)"). This is the highest rate among advanced nations. To help improve this situation, we are leveraging global skill-sharing to increase the income of single mothers.

About "Skijan"

With a smartphone or PC, users can offer various skills such as writing, design, web development, novel writing, manga, music composition, video production, language learning, and advice on hobbies and lifestyle. By selling these skills to customers from 143 countries worldwide, users can earn income through the global skill-sharing platform "Skijan".

Skill product pages, manuals, and chats created in Japanese are instantly auto-translated into English, Thai, and Vietnamese. (Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Indonesian, and Korean will be supported by the end of 2024.) Communication with overseas users through chat is also smooth thanks to automatic translation.

There are no listing fees. The service charges a commission (21% and up) only when a sale is completed.

Support for Single Mothers

Sales on "Skijan":
Single mothers can sell their skills such as writing, design, web development, novel writing, manga, music composition, video production, language learning, and hobby/lifestyle advice to both domestic and international customers to increase their income.

Consultants on "Skijan" will provide support to sellers, offering consulting services to help boost their sales.

We are also actively hiring single mothers as consultants for "Skijan", offering them an hourly wage of 2,100 yen (1,500 yen + 600 yen single mother allowance) or more.
